Photography, Textiles

Building on her London degree in Printed Textiles and Decoration, Debbie has worked in a studio producing printed patterns for interior fabrics, and as a teacher, including running art departments for international summer courses, and working as a Textiles teacher in boarding schools. Debbie now works full time as a textiles artist, producing landscapes of the local area and Cornwall, as well as producing commissions of dogs and homes. Debbie focuses on freemotion embroidery, and summer fields, bluebell woods, winter snow scenes and Cornish seascapes are her current source of inspiration. Debbie has exhibited her work in galleries across the South East and is currently represented by Fitch and Fellows gallery in Thame.
She has also recently produced a series of hand developed photographs of Cuba which she took 20 years ago and these are framed up for the artweeks exhibition, so it will be a show of two halves!
The exhibition is set in her summer house in the beautiful village of Ewelme.
