Pastel and watercolour. Subjects include Oxfordshire, London, Italy, Greece and Amsterdam. I exhibit in my pop-up gallery in the old wash house in my cottage garden. Many prices reduced to clear stock.
I have exhibited three times at the annual exhibition of the Pastel Society at the Mall Galleries in London.
All my pictures are based on sketches or photographs of places I have visited. I am inspired by the colours or atmosphere of a place – or the memories it evokes. I am self-taught; I learned from studying books by artists, attending exhibitions and workshops, regular sketching and experimenting.
