I have always loved making and designing and I spent many years identifying trends and buying ranges for High St chains.
I started to make pottery to relax and unwind, but found it so exciting I built a garden studio where I am now to be found most days.
The way I approach pottery has much in common with my work in fashion. I still work seasonally and am influenced by fashion colours and trends. I consider materials, form and function but pay special attention to texture, colour, pattern and detail, developing new colour stories regularly.
Individual pieces are designed to work well on their own or with other pieces from the same pattern, shape or colour family.
