An enjoyment of colour and texture is reflected in Amanda's artwork, in which she strives to capture the essence of the landscape. Amanda uses drawings to record a sense of fleeting fragments of the landscape as she walks. Amanda uses a combination of paper and cloth to create surfaces to paint and work into with stitch.
For Artweeks Amanda will exhibit and demonstrate alongside two other textile artists in the Blanket Hall, Witney.
The Blanket Hall is a historic venue worth exploring and learning the history of Witneys blanket heritage. It is also home to famous Pieshop/cafe for a break and refreshments.
