Artist information

Claire Cross is a self-taught Oxfordshire artist inspired by wildlife and the beautiful countryside. She enjoys trying new materials and techniques to achieve interesting effects.

Exhibition information

This year I have been inspired by visits to Slimbridge and Chichester harbour to see wading birds in the mist. This led to lots of misty wet watercolours and lots of bird paintings. I am also filling a sketchbook with a bird drawing a day this year.
