Artist information

I have always worked in creative environments in music, art, magazine and book publishing publishing. I learnt my craft through JASSO (Jewellery and Silver Society of Oxford) and have been creating and selling my sculptures for the last 10 years.

I have exhibited in Oxfordshire Artweeks, The Oxfordshire Museum, The Abingdon Museum, Court Barn Gallery and The Turrill Sculpture Garden.

Exhibition information

I work with copper, brass and aluminium, cutting out images from sheet metal and either finishing them with a verdigris or patterned finish or planishing it to create a 3d effect. I love form, movement, colour and endeavour to include these in my work. I source wood (some driftwood and some from carpenters’ workshops) and stone – materials that would otherwise be discarded but can be repurposed for bases of my work making each piece unique.
