Exhibition information

This will be my 5th year exhibiting with Oxfordshire Artweeks and during this year I will also be taking part in Art in the Countryside and numerous craft fairs throughout the year. I enjoy taking my art out to the public.

Artist information

Born in Morecambe, Lancashire I have lived in Oxfordshire for approximately 30 years. In 2020 I discovered a love for coloured pencils during a period of furlough. I am completely self-taught and am enjoying my journey into art and the amazing people I am meeting along the way.

Very much a country girl I get my inspiration from nature, my subjects being wildlife, countryside and the coast. I have also explored the human form and completed some portraits along the way. This year I aim to expand my subject matter – I am hoping to have a few examples finished for exhibitions I will be taking part in during this year.

I am currently enjoying working with pastel pencil and very much look forward to combining it with coloured pencil as I did in a recent commission.
