Exhibition information

I’ll be at home in Jericho and will have on display for the first time the little watercolour paintings of Jericho painted for the book ‘JERICHO – A CELEBRATION’  which was published in December 2025 and records the 200 years of Jericho’s life!  The little book will of course be on sale. In addition there will be oil and watercolour paintings, especially of Port Meadow;  limited edition prints of Oxford;  some ceramics and sculpted clay figures in the garden.  Also some clearance paintings and prints – with all proceeds going to charity.  So please feel free to drop in and have a browse!

As well as painting, I’m also happily engaged playing with clay these days!  I’m fortunate to be attending the Drew School of Ceramics where I’ve been learning some hand-building and glazing techniques. It’s never too late to start new things and you never know where they’ll lead…

Artist information

Illustrations for a number of books including: ‘Worcester Wanderings’ ; ‘John Radcliffe and his Legacy to Oxford’ and 4 other books in this series by David Cranston FRCS;  ‘Consider England’ ;  ‘Oxford Words and Watercolours’, (“The book captures the spirit of Oxford with elegance and accuracy” – Lord Jenkins) which is now out of print but is available from Amazon, and most recently the book about Jericho, mentioned above.  Also, although not strictly a publication – last year several of my long-standing ‘streetscapes’ of Oxford were hugely enlarged and made into wallpaper for public spaces in the new Wellford Gardens Order of St John care home in Wheatley.
