Exhibition information

My work is a celebration of bold and beautiful colours coupled with strong and suggestive shaped which form my signature graphic style.  I’m inspired by childhood memories, a love of the natural world and simply finding the beauty in everyday life.

My limited edition lino prints range from true representations to abstractions, from mini prints to much larger ones and black on white to full on colour.  Each lino print can take numerous weeks to complete depending on the amount of layers and the complexity of the piece, so I always have multiple prints on the go.  While the ink is drying I can be cutting another, but there is something special about pulling the final layer of a print and everything comes together.

Artist information

I’m Tracey Underhill, I’m a printmaker and I been practising printmaking for nearly 13 years and I specialise in lino relief printing.

As an art lover I have interests in all mediums, although I am drawn to printmaking’s graphic nature and the layering of ink to become one final image is an interesting and challenging process.

As Tracey I have a small obsession with trying lots of different arts and crafts,  there is always a new project on the go and a lot of ‘in progress’ ones too.
