Artist information

Ticia studied City & Guilds Embroidery at Abingdon College, before completing a Diploma in Stitched Textiles at Windsor. Since then she has enjoyed working and occasionally teaching textiles. She exhibits with several groups including HapticArt, Oxford Craft Guild, Oxford Textile Artists and Textiles in Oxford.

Exhibition information

Ticia gets inspiration from a number of sources, usually nature and especially birds. Additionally visits to India have nurtured her love of bright colours and these and Indian patterns have influenced her work. She recently enrolled on a Kantha course and enjoyed the intense hand stitching’
