Artist information

I continue to teach part-time, facilitating creative workshops for young people with additional needs, in which we explore a range of media and project to promote creative skills and well-being.

Exhibition information

Based in Woodstock, I enjoy exploring a range of media but particularly ink, watercolour and oil. I find inspiration in the local landscape and through travel to Canada and throughout Europe.

Key influence are the bold colours of Matisse and Hockney as well as the simplicity of Japanese prints.

I enjoy simplifying shapes and forms to explore a range of themes in my compositions. Current themes of interest are inspired by the garden, cafe scenes and still life at a window.
