Exhibition information

Our exhibition is in light, bright Archangel Studio, in the former Vicarage in Cumnor Village. I’ll be showing vibrant mixed media landscapes and wildlife monoprints inspired by the Oxfordshire countryside. Annabel Jolly has her stunning shell work pictures and mirrors and we will be showcasing gorgeous botanical art work by Kelly Smith. There will be cards, prints and beautiful items for the home.

In 2025 I had a Solo Exhibition at the beautiful Parabola Arts Centre in Cheltenham. Also, five of my paintings were exhibited in the Mall Galleries in London at the Charlie Waller Trust Art Exhibition.

A selection of my Monotypes were exhibited at the  North Wall Gallery from December 2025- January 2026 with the Oxford Printmakers Cooperative.

Artist information

The paintings in this year’s exhibition are inspired by a nine day trek in the Alps, on the Tour of the Matterhorn, in July 2025. It is a celebration of the beauty of the mountains, the extraordinary glacial lakes and the amazing wildlife encountered on the way.

“Sarah Bond’s vibrant mixed media paintings and monotypes convey the beauty and endeavour of renewable energy. Her initial inspiration comes from landscapes which encompass these elements- the glacial lakes of the Alps, the wind farms of the UK. She has channelled a concern about the environment into works redolent of possibility, repositioning signifiers of green technologies such as wind turbines as sublime objects. Sarah homes in on colour contrasts and dynamic shapes. She turns up the volume: colours are more vibrant, the contrasts starker, the lines sharper, to create pieces charged with energy and hope.” Kate Reeve- Edwards
