Exhibition information

Local Oxfordshire views, contrasting with wilder landscapes in Wales, North-west Scotland and the Outer Hebrides. Charcoal figures capturing a fleeting glance, a stride or a stance. The exhibition is in a delightful garden room, adjacent to the studio.

Artist information

Sarah Bannerman is based in Oxfordshire and worked in Academic Publishing before becoming an artist. She founded an after-school art club for children, which ran for 10 years, and currently teaches adult classes at Mill Street Arts in Eynsham https://millstreetarts.co.uk. She always carries a sketchbook and is a firm believer in the psychological benefits of art – to help us see the world differently, to quieten the everyday noise, and obtain peace of mind.
