Artist information

I started making pots whilst at college many years ago and after too, too long a break, via architecture and design, I set up my own garden pottery studio in Cumnor.

I work mainly in stoneware clay, making wheel thrown and hand-built pots, dishes, tiles, bowls, vases that are both decorative and practical and inspired by nature. I use hand-mixed glazes from original recipes, under-glazes, slips and oxides.

I run workshops and undertake some commissions.

I also work at the Old Forge Pottery in Eynsham, sharing ideas, enthusiasms and resources with other potters. We are a co-operative of twelve ceramic artists.
