Rose draws on her encounters with people and animals, often working from sketches and memory from her travels. The works use bold colour and are often in a simplified form. Earthy tones combined with vivid palettes create balance with compositions that sit between representation and abstraction. Her work draws on influences ranging from folk art to textiles, capturing moments that feel both intimate and imagined. Rose’s paintings invite the viewer to look beyond what we think we see and importantly the journey through her own life in paint.

Rose is a British-born artist, specialising in using Oil Paints. After her longstanding career in horse racing, where she worked as a Racing Secretary, she made the leap in early 2024,  to pursue painting full-time. Her work has been shown at;
