Exhibition information

Rach Kelly makes hand-built sculptural forms and vessels inspired by the natural world.

Her current collection of sculptural work – ‘Hagstones’, explores the juxtaposition between the solid inanimate elements of the landscape and the fragile, ephemeral flora that finds spaces to live within it. Their smooth, organic shapes echo pebbles slowly honed and eroded by the sea. They are abstract forms with apertures and floating, decorative flora. These pieces explore contrasts of surface and texture, of stillness and movement.
