Exhibition information

For this exhibition, I am presenting a selection of works that examine the tension between intention and consequence, both politically and personally. Three drawings in charcoal, ink, and watercolour continue their exploration of the human figure as a site of psychological expression, balancing abstraction and realism to evoke states of unease and introspection. These are shown alongside a work that considers how the desire for change can give rise to unintended and often troubling outcomes. The installation Death in a Can extends reflects on corporate greed and the fragility of human life within systems of exploitation. The presentation is complemented by the latest edition of the Zine You Next Tuesday fanzine, produced collaboratively as part of the artist collective of the same name.

Artist information

I am a multidisciplinary artist working across charcoal, ink, watercolour, and digital media. My practice explores the relationship between political power and individual experience, examining how systems of control shape psychological reality. Drawing on studies at the Royal Drawing School and City Lit, my work centres on the human figure as a means of expressing emotional and internal states. Alongside two-dimensional pieces, I create installation works that reflect on human fragility and the limits of agency in the face of larger, uncontrollable forces. I am a member of the Zine You Next Tuesday artist collective, contributing to the triannual fanzine of the same name.
