Artist information
I use a mixture of techniques including ink pen, watercolours, and acrylics. I also enjoy sketching and painting in the open air, especially when inspired by the light and colour of Spain.
Professionally I’m an Engineer and Physicist but have been painting and exhibiting from an early age. I studied Art to A level and have always managed to keep painting when time allowed. My technical expertise is in lasers and optics, but I do get involved in the cross over between science and art, especially in some aspects of Holography and its applications.
Apart from being a long term Oxford resident, we are fortunate enough to have a home in Spain, a country that always inspires me to paint and draw. I love the look of architecture; both the Spanish and English have their own unique history and attractions.
