Artist information

Members of our group use painting, drawing and sculpture to express their feelings, extend their abilities and create interesting artworks. Many of us have taken part in art classes run by Abingdon and Witney College, which have enabled us to try new techniques and experiment under the expert guidance of our tutor. Most of us have spent our careers working in other fields, but now find ourselves with the time and opportunity to explore our creative ambitions. What brings us together is the exploration of our artistic talents and the inspiration and friendship we gain from the experience of creating art. We have discovered, sometimes to our surprise, an ability to create interesting and inspiring works of art, which we hope you will also enjoy.

Exhibition information

Our exhibition is an eclectic mix of paintings, drawings and sculpture making an interesting collection reflecting our varied styles and interests. This includes landscapes inspired by a variety of locations around Oxfordshire, Still Life, Abstract, and works inspired by exhibits in the Ashmolean Museum. We are inspired by art and nature, patterns and colours.
