I have painted in oils, on and off, since my teens but after the longest hiatus of some 20 odd years I have become re-enthused since retiring as a Chartered Engineer at the age of 70. It was at this time that I decided to switch to acrylics because the clean up is less messy and the waste easier to dispose of being water soluble. I find that I can create acrylic paintings that look like oils, and with the same vibrancy, and the rapid drying time eliminates the frustration of waiting for layers to dry before adding another.

I love the natural world and I enjoy depicting scenes in glorious colours.
