Exhibition information

Hi I’m Merrill. My passion is landscape photography and creating digital art which I’ve been doing for around ten years. In May I took part in my first Artweeks exhibition and I’m excited to have had the opportunity to share my work. I love everything about the creative process which combines a good eye for composition, artistic flare and technical competence. Nature is a never ending source of inspiration, whether it be dramatic seascapes, mountains or the rolling countryside of Oxfordshire. It provides an opportunity to create something unique. Each image captures a moment in time that will never be quite the same again – the light, the clouds and the colours. My digital art provides an opportunity for me to take things to another level. It’s a true blank canvas for my imagination to run riot on and create images that tell a story, combining familiar elements in unfamiliar settings or situations.

With my PetFlicks series, I’m inviting viewers to see pets not just as companions, but as larger-than-life heroes, villains, and stars—proving once and for all that every dog is born to lead the pack… on and off the screen: they’re designed to be stand-alone images as they are, but it could also be your dog (or cat or guinea pig) as the star of Space Bandits or Tom Cruise in Mission Impawsible this Christmas! Just get in touch.
