Artist information

I am a self-taught artist and have always done some sort of painting ,I can’t say I have a particular style ,

I may be inspired by an artist or style that I have seen at an exhibition or online and just try it out

Since I retired, I have had more time to concentrate on my painting and have had a chance to mix with other artists and learn from them.

This is my 3rd Artweeks and it is a wonderful opportunity to showcase my art and to visit all the other artists

Exhibition information

This year my paintings are pre dominantly Watercolour which is my first love and the medium that I am most comfortable with.

I am trying to use this medium in diverse ways, from expressive landscapes to tighter paintings of figures in markets and I have also been experimenting with ‘Teabag paper’ …yes that is a thing

This is where you layer up images.

I also use pastels for my animal pictures and Acrylic for landscapes.

I have recently started to use oils. And am still finding my way with this medium.
