Exhibition information

My passion is for painting landscape and flora sometimes manmade structures. I consider myself a colourist as my colour palette would perhaps be described as vibrant and eccentric, intensifying what I see and what is real.

Artist information

I am a freelance artist living in a lovely village close to Oxford and on the edge of the Cotswolds.

I have painted as early as I can remember winning first place in an art competition for Reeves at the tender age of eight years old having submitted a gouache rendition of a horse and foal. My favourite programme at that time was Vision On which ignited my imagination and interest in creating artwork.

I began my long and varied career working as a Graphic Designer for an advertising company based in London, then moved back to my home town in Essex to work as a graphic artist/illustrator within advertising and publishing, and later relocating to Oxfordshire in 1998.

One of the few good things about lock-down was finding the extra time to busy myself through making art and also being more experimental and trying new processes. Therefore, following the first lock-down I decided it was the right time to fulfil my lifelong dream of working full time on painting and creating art.
