I trained as a teacher at Lady Spencer Churchill College Oxford and took Art as my main subject. I went on to teach across all age groups.. Art has been my passion and my journey and exploration of techniques and new media continues unabated.I now combine techniques and different ways to express how I feel and what intrigues me. I love painting in all mediums but my favourite is soft pastels. I started a ceramic course at Fired up Studio in Kings Sutton last summer and I love modelling sculpture in stoneware clay.

I love painting in oils, acrylic and pastels. I am inspired by flora and fauna. I also like to combine collage and background mono printing. . My art is a reflection of my love of the natural world . My ceramic sculpture is inspired by my love of animals and birds ..My pieces are hand sculpted using stoneware clay.They are fired to bisqueware and then painted with glazes and fired again.
