Exhibition information

I design and make sculptural furniture that sits between art and function. The work is informed by natural forms and structure, combining simple forms with complex underlying construction, drawing on mathematics, engineering, and material behaviour.

I work primarily with locally sourced timber. Each piece is carefully resolved in terms of proportion, detail, and function. I work closely with clients on bespoke projects, adapting designs to suit their specific needs.

Artist information

I am a multi award-winning designer-maker working in the UK. I developed an early interest in making from the age of six, and by sixteen had designed and built my own workshop, where I began teaching myself furniture making.

I completed a Fine Art Foundation at the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham, before going on to achieve a First Class BA (Hons) in Furniture Design and Make at Rycotewood Furniture Centre.

My work is shaped by a combination of interests in mathematics, engineering, nature, and fine art. This multidisciplinary approach underpins both my design process and the direction of my practice, resulting in work that is precise, considered, and quietly expressive.
