Exhibition information

I draw, paint and sometimes make models from both observation and my imagination – often inspired by poetry.

I use a wide range of media including drawing with pen/ink, charcoal, graphite, painting in oils, water colours, acrylics, cans of spray paint and whatever else comes to hand!

Artist information

I’ve always made art but only seriously in the last 10 years or so.  I work in London and Oxfordshire.  My studio is in a converted stable in the garden- where I now spend a lot time!

Most of my work is from my imagination – using poems, sometimes the whole poem but often just a few lines, as a starting point.  I use a wide range of media/materials including water colours , acrylics, inks, collage……and sometimes oils or whatever comes to hand!  I usually work on paper – normally A2 or A3 in size.
