Exhibition information

Drawing inspiration from nature, memory, and the ephemeral quality of light, my paintings aim to capture a moment of quiet resonance. Each piece is a balance between intention and spontaneity, allowing for discovery within the process. I am striving to create work that lingers in the mind, suggesting rather than defining, and offering space for personal interpretation.

Artist information

I love drawing, the possibilities of charcoal, layering paint, scratching and scraping, sometimes wildly and other times carefully – enjoying the unexpected, the pentimento and being absorbed in the creative process. Live and work in Oxford and spend as much time as possible in Cornwall where the sea is my spirit level.
