Exhibition information

My work is in porcelain, thrown on the wheel, and sometimes altered.  I use coloured ash glazes painted onto the pot with large brushes to create abstract designs.  Each piece is painted spontaneously taking into account the shape of the pot, and no two pieces are the same. I take inspiration from the shapes and colours of daily life and from abstract expressionist paintings.

I have been a potter for over thirty years both in the UK and in France.  I am now resident in Oxford and exhibit in various galleries and ceramic exhibitions.
