Artist information

After gaining a degree in Fine Art Sculpture for Wimbledon school of Art, I moved back to Oxfordshire where I grew up. I now work from my studio in Charlbury, in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds which I share with potter Martha Evan (Railway Studios) We open the studios twice a year for Oxfordshire Artweeks and welcome visitors, by appointment, year round.

I have had work exhibited in the following recent exhibitions:

Oxford Art Society 2024

The Discerning Eye,- November 2024, by invitation of Will Gopertz, guest selector.

Royal Institute of Oil Painters- November 20204

Loving Local- The North Wall, Oxford – March 2025

I will be exhibiting at The Charlbury Deli throughout April …why not come and have coffee!

Exhibition information

The inspiration for my paintings and drawings comes from the natural world around me and a love for changing seasons and light, the gentle landscape of Oxfordshire, trees, flowers, fields, birds and the sea. Painting in oils, largely from memory, I aim to capture the feel of a place or time and hopefully transport the viewer. I like to work with natural materials – pigment and charcoal for my paintings and drawings and a variety of limestone for my carvings.

Much of my work has been reproduced as prints and greetings cards and is available through my website and my Etsy shop.

I also run stone carving workshops from my studio in Charlbury- if you would like to give this a go, please see details on my website.
