Exhibition information
The inspiration for my paintings and drawings comes from the natural world around me and a love for changing seasons and light, the gentle landscape of Oxfordshire, trees, flowers, fields, birds and the sea. Painting in oils, largely from memory, I aim to capture the feel of a place or time and hopefully transport the viewer. I like to work with natural materials - pigment and charcoal for my paintings and drawings and a variety of limestone for my carvings.
Much of my work has been reproduced as prints and greetings cards and is available through my website and my Etsy shop.
I also run stone carving workshops from my studio in Charlbury- if you would like to give this a go, please see details on my website.
