Exhibition information

I make wood fired tableware. All my pots are lined with a glaze to make them food safe while the outside is left unglazed to show the effects of the fire on the clay body.

I will have a diverse selection of pots during the Artweek exhibition, some of my regular production as well as experiments and new ideas that are in the developping stages.

Artist information

I started making pots about 30 years ago as a student, and became a full time potter 12 years ago. I have always been woodfiring, apart from a short period experimenting with gas firing and ash glazes while I was still in full time employment and pottery was a serious hobby.
