Artist information

I am Oxford based travel and documentary photographer. But sometimes I go off piste and do something different from what you may see on my Instagram profile. Here is the link: https://www.instagram.com/bharatpatelphotography/

Over the last twenty years I have experiment with many other genres of photography; always looking for new ways to explore photography using different techniques.

For me, a photograph is only complete when it is printed. A printed photo gives a sense of importance and permanence to the subject.

Exhibition information

This year at Artweeks, I will once again showcase my blended images of Oxford. Through this series, I explore the dreamlike experiences visitors and residents might have—where time and locations intertwine in a surreal vision of the city.

I will also be exhibiting my collection of prints created using Gumoil, an alternative photographic printing process that combines photography with oil paint.

Additionally, a selection of my books will be available for purchase, including Nomadic Odyssey, a coffee table book made possible through crowdfunding.
