I love color as can be seen by my work! 
I paint people in social settings as well as just portraits . Still life’s depicting some joys in life ,dogs ,flowers & birds are also favorites . Having grown up by the west coast of Sweden & later by a lake I also paint series of harbors. Through the years I’ve explored printing & papier marche as well as textiles . I creat designs for wrapping paper & fabrics. My art is really about joy , smiling & inclusivity in addition to observing human nature and our interactions.

I often get asked to do commissions and am very happy to accept these ,working closely with the client.

Artist information

I’m a Swedish born full time artist who’s been painting & creating for over 30 years. 
My family moved to the UK in 1975 & my first career was teaching pre school children in Oxford UK for close to 20 years becoming a full time artist in 1995. After the death of my first husband I moved to NYC  in 2000. I then divided my time between NY & Oxford exhibiting in both cities. I have been a member of Artweeks since 1996 with a few years gap in the early 2000s . I was also a member of BWAC , Brooklyn Waterfront Artist Coalition for several years.I now spend the majority of my time in the UK.
