Exhibition information

My practice centres on exploration and play, working in acrylics, mixed media or watercolour I am drawn to colour, pattern, and texture, building layered surfaces with paint and paper to capture a fleeting moment in time.

Inspired by the natural world and the everyday objects around me, I find beauty in unexpected places and ordinary items. These observations become starting points for pieces reimagined through collage, layered marks, and expressive colour.

Each painting is its own journey. I embrace layering, spontaneity, and surprise—allowing the work to evolve through curiosity and discovery. Every piece is a learning curve, an opportunity to experiment, respond, and grow through the act of making.

Artist information

I am a painter and mixed media artist whose work is rooted in a love of colour, pattern, and experimentation. After spending several years abroad and dedicating time to raising a family, I have returned to my artistic practice with renewed focus and energy.

Originally trained as a printed textile designer, my background continues to influence my approach to composition and surface. The language of textiles—layering, repetition, and decorative pattern—remains central to my work.

I am also participating in Bucks Art Weeks in June.
