Artist information

Born 1972, in Peterborough Cambridgeshire, I was ‘awarded’ an E in Art GCSE due to being put into the wrong exam category. Yet I never let that deter me from creating.

From an artistically creative family I picked up my 1st camera at age 7 but also create works in many other media and styles.

This year I am exhibiting for the 1st time and have chosen to show my photography.

Outside of my 9-5 job, my interest in art and nature allows me to be me, for my brain to quieten and to breathe.

Patterns in nature or a specific scene will draw my attention to a composition, which results in a strong need to capture the image. Thankfully that need can now be satisfied with the advancement of technology as like you, I carry a camera in my pocket all the time.

None of my photographic images are edited, other than a bit of cropping to best highlight nature’s beauty. Nature does not need me to edit it.

Exhibition information

– 21 x Contemporary, macro and abstract nature photography including trees, bees, birds and botany.

– Inspired by nature’s patterns presented through the lens of a camera

– Bringing nature’s colours and shapes into your home, to bring a of pop of colour and interest to any space.

– All my images are signed limited prints of 72. Printed on high quality paper using the Giclée process, brushed aluminium or acrylic to best represent the image. All Giclée prints are mounted and framed by myself.

– No image has been edited or filtered in post production software; the only editing is cropping to highlight the beauty of the natural world.

– Sizes range depending on the piece. The tall tree can be reproduced up to 2.5m by 0.7m The other images vary in their resolution but most can be reproduced between A5 – A2.
