Artist (or organisation) information:
Once I worked out that I had been to 17 different schools which were spread halfway across the world. I had a nomadic childhood. In England I lived in an old rectory near Banbury. Here time had moved slowly, it's contents had been added over 200 years with little being taken away. So with original art on the walls and without a television I learned to develop other interests. Painting and drawing became important to me and I went to Art School.
A life time later and I am now rooted in the village of Eynsham, still in Oxfordshire. This village and its surroundings are my inspiration. Now I am painting landscapes that explore new meanings for changing spaces. These will go on exhibition during the Oxfordshire Artweeks Festival of 2024.
