30 choices for 30 years

A local company Artistpublishers.com is launching an Oxfordshire-wide public vote on a selection of pieces of work being exhibited during Artweeks to help celebrate and publicise Oxfordshire Artweeks' 30th anniversary.
Artistpublishers.com showcase the work of a mix of working artists enabling artists to “self-publish” work as greetings cards, postcards and prints and reach new audiences (including high street card shops) at the click of a button.
All Artweeks artists are are invited to enter an image that sums up where you live – not necessarily a landscape but an picture that captures the spirit of Oxfordshire – into the competition and the first 30 uploaded to the site will be put to a public vote via Artistpublishers.com, a poster display at Oxford station and the Jam Factory during April. The winning artist will receive £300 worth of printing from Artistpublishers.com.
Artweeks members can also upload entries to the Artistpublishers.com “virtual gallery” for free as part of this competition (usual price £15 plus VAT). To take part, just log on to www.artistpublishers.com and follow the links to the Artweeks competition for more information.
Entries close on Monday 2nd April 2012 when the public vote will begin. Results will be announced at the end of Artweeks on 27th May 2012.
