My mosaics are created using recycled vintage and retro crockery. I have exhibited at the Vale and Downland museum in Wantage and the Tom Brown’s School Museum in Uffington when taking part in the Swire Ridgeway Arts Prize. I regularly sell my work at the Newbury Artisan market and the Abingdon Excellence market. My mosaics can also be purchased from The Arbery Emporium in the Arbery Arcade in Wantage and my Etsy shop.
I am a self taught mosaic artist and have been creating mosaics, using broken China pieces for the last 3 years. The idea of recycling and reusing items that would otherwise have been discarded appeals to me greatly. I am mainly inspired by nature and love depicting the animal world. People often ask me to make commissions of their beloved pets or an animal they are particularly fond of. I have very recently completed my first large (2m x 2m) commission for Great Shefford primary school depicting animals in the Oxfordshire Countryside.
