Last year I made a Journal for the very well known Author Cressida Cowell, writer of the How to Train Your Dragon series of books and films. If you have children or grandchildren they will certainly know she is. This year I made a Journal for a HUGE Author which will be presented to him later in the year. As yet I cannot tell you who this is, but watch this space during September! As for events this year, I did have quite a few planned (our Oxfordshire Artweeks Events at Great Tew being the highlight), but as they have mostly been cancelled I will let you know as soon as I can of any live events here.
My British Craft House shop https://thebritishcrafthouse.co.uk/shop/malloryjournals/ and Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MalloryJournals?ref=seller-platform-mcnav are both fully open, but orders will only be despatched once a week and can take longer to arrive than normal. Please bear with me and Royal Mail on this at this very difficult time.
Journal making is like a therapy for me. I get an itch and it has to be scratched! I am self-taught and have developed my craft over many years. I hold stock, but also make to order, particularly Map Journals, which are great for travelling or personal gifts.
I make Journals in A5 and A6 sizes, both Portrait and Landscape (ideal for sketchbooks). I also have a few square Sketchbooks bound with Khadi Hand Made Cotton Rag Paper. Occasionally I make Journals in A7, A8 and A9 (really, really small!)
My Journals are refillable, great if you use it for work or just general notes. I can also easily expand the spine if you want to add inclusions into your Journal. I can add more or less pages (a standard Journal is bound with 160 pages). A6 Journals are made with 130gsm cartridge paper only (perfect for writing or sketching). A5 Journals are available in 130gsm cartridge paper, dot grid or ruled paper. Contact me for details.
