On October 1st 2019, I moved Neocartouche into Studio One at Ayres House Studios, from where I have been working on individual and collaborative projects and also running popular and well-attended art classes from the beautiful Education Room.
The lockdown has brought a sense of calm amidst the panic, the space in between these two extremes, an opportunity to fill with continued and new creative endeavours.... so please come back to this space ..... to see how it unfolds.....over time.....
My practice, as an Anglo-Asian British Contemporary Artists, is interdisciplinary, researching into my fascinations with the process, practice and enjoyment of making art. I seek out inspiration through travelling and immersing myself in foreign culture and also through working closely with other inspirational artists. I nurture and develop my ideas through drawing. I make sculptures and interactive sound installations, performance work (including dance & costume-design) and films (production and projection). My process is continuously evolving as one idea sparks another in this cross-cultural, cross-disciplinary practice.
I run Neocartouche, a creative business, through which to connect my practice to the outside world.
