I have been woodturning for 15 years and am largely self-taught but enjoy being part of the wider local woodturning community.
I am intrigued by the constant variation in grain, pattern and colour which makes each individual piece of wood unique and which are revealed during the turning process. These factors have an interaction with the shape of the piece which I often adjust during turning to bring out the full natural beauty of the wood in the finished item.
I generally use British woods (I can generally tell you the source of each piece of wood ) and occasionally use sustainably-sourced imported wood.

I have many more items than I can show here, different bowls, platters, boxes, candlesticks and tea-light holders made from various woods. If there is anything specific you would like, item or wood, let me know - either I may have something in stock, or I can make it for you.
