Sadly the coronavirus situation will mean you won't be able to see the real thing during Artweeks, but please head over to my website to see a selection of images and prints from over two years of daily sketches, or follow me on Twitter or Instagram for work in progress.
The originals are in small A6 sketchbooks, mostly in pen and ink, pencil or coloured pencil. There are montages of many sketches, plus individual images, themed collections and other work available as limited edition digital prints. When updated the site will also show a selection of portraits and other paintings in oils.

After a lifetime working in Graphic Design I am currently trying to spend more time drawing and painting. On January 1st 2018 I started making a drawing a day. I'm still at it and have now made over 800 sketches of a variety of places, things and occasionally people. For sanity, rather than trying to choose a subject at random each day, each month has a theme ... Pubs I have known, trees, things beginning with, objects from the Pitt River's Museum ... and many more.
Having created something like a body of work, I held my first solo exhibition '365 Days and Counting' at Hemingway Art in Cassington in June last year.
