I intend to keep it Virtual Exhibition due to the current Oxford restrictions. However, to save postage and to save any breakages, I would be happy for you to collect from my Oxford (OX3 7SH) address. Happy to deliver within 10 miles, if the value is more than £20.
I am also in process of creating more similar pieces this month, so watch the FB and instagram page - https://www.instagram.com/playwithclay_by_kashmira/
If you happen to be curious about other works shown on my facebook , please do not hesitate to ask me.
''When you buy something from an artist, you are buying more than an object. You are buying days and hours of experimentation,
errors and trials. You are buying their moments of frustration and pure joy. You are buying a piece, but also their piece of heart and soul''

My Multi media Panel - ' Elements of Earth' ( on my FB page) was chosen by Oxford Art Society for its Open Exhibition, On sale on Christmas Collection
My passion with clay and all organic forms evolved after many years of brush stroking techniques on bisque ware. I love creating organic forms, defying the normal structures of figurines, bowls or any other daily use items.
My approach to these sculptural forms tend to highlight the linearity of the female forms with the use of coarse textures that contrast with smooth glazes. Simulating terracotta colours on the skin to juxtapose with the minimal colours of the fabric, thus resulting in unexpected finishing effects from the firing.
I find that working with oxides, greens and blues give me a great sense of staying connected to the earth and water and my works emerge as grounded and minimal pieces that meld with nature. Groggy surfaces that contrast with smooth and crackle glazes.
- “I play with clay to form abstract, organic pieces which are inspired from shapes and textures of pieces unearthed from excavations of old civilizations”
