In 2018, after gaining two silver medals for the RHS some years earlier, Caroline won a Royal Horticultural Society Gold Medal for paintings of Passion Flowers, selling two paintings to their Lindley Library, appearing in a book of their gold medal winners, and being offered a chance to paint for Curtis's Magazine. She is a member of the Society of Botanical Artists, the Gloucestershire Society for Botanical Illustration, and, until its recent closure, the Society of Floral Artists, as well as The Wildlife Art Society International and her local art group at Bury Knowle in Oxford. She has also exhibited widely with the Alpine Garden Society and has a gold medal and bar for art from them. In July 2019 she exhibited with the Royal Horticultural Society again, this time with a display on the fungi found in Oxfordshire and Berkshire. This resulted in an invitation to paint for the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, and to exhibit with them in 2021.
