Annabel Eyres exhibits annually in Oxford and London. The Riverside Gallery in Barnes hosts an exhibition of Annabel's work during March and April to coincide with the Tideway Head race season culminating with the Boat Race. Annabel has also exhibited in a number of group shows most recently the Art from the Heart charity exhibition in aid of the NHS and curated by the Zuleika Gallery in St James's, London.
Annabel studied Fine Art at the Ruskin School within Oxford University in the 1980's. There she painted the figure and still lives in minute detail in oil and watercolour. Annabel began an international rowing career whilst at Oxford which culminated in Olympic representation in 1992. To fund this lifestyle she and two other athletes began a graphics design business, Rock the Boat designing T-shirts for rowing events across the UK. A simpler style began which has now led to an interest in the human form whilst practicing yoga. Annabel has taught rowing and art in various Oxfordshire based schools and clubs and is now involved in the Oxford Junior Rowing Course and hosting yoga retreats in the New Forest.
