Lesley works with wools, linens and cottons in evocative, variegated colours and textures to create landscapes and seascapes. The technique of layering gives an effect of painting with fabrics which bewitches and hypnotises both Lesley herself and the viewer. These 'Textile Painting' can be seen in Chipping Norton at the Owen Mumford Gallery in The Theatre and in her own exhibition at The Fibreworks.
