The patterns underlying life have always fascinated me. As an artist and mathematician I enjoy analyzing and expressing the structure and forms of reality, the nature of consciousness and the Mind through creative modes. For some 20 years I have dedicated myself to research on archetypal symbolism, particularly geometry, for my books and also for the inspiration in my art. Currently my focus is on abstract expressionism and the blending of creativity, logic and spirit. Geometry is either overt or covert in the underlying structure of the painting. When geometry is used specifically because of the application in shaping reality and combined with emotive colours it has a dynamic effect that resonates with the viewer. Using mixed media and adding specific materials into my acrylic art, such as ground crystals or metallic leaf, add an additional layer of vitality and effect. It is my intent that every piece I create brings you a very personal perceptual experience.
