Lockdown was mixed. At the start of lockdown, with the ceramic studio filling up with work for ArtWeeks 2020, I decided to leave ceramics alone until the future was more resolved and just paint. While I didn’t work as hard as I should have done, lockdown allowed me to play more resulting in not much finished work but, somewhat thanks to the Internet, having visited some interesting places. Hopefully thanks largely to the vaccines and greater public awareness, we can now start to return to life resembling that of a couple of years ago and meaning I have to start being serious again.
