Haichen is an award-winning, classically trained Chinese ceramic artist and designer, currently using the medium of traditional Chinese ink painting to create large images inspired by the landscape of Oxford and Oxfordshire. Trained at the Central Academy of Fine Art and Design in Beijing, she later founded Blue Shanghai White, a Shanghai-based shop selling her innovative ceramics and furniture designs. Her work has been collected by museums in China and South Korea, and has been widely exhibited internationally, including at the Ariana Museum of ceramics and glass in Geneva, and at UNESCO in Paris.
