Anna's work develops by focusing on shape, pattern and form. It evolves from the possibilities of arrangement and construction into the final piece. Sometimes organic, stylised or abstract, she draws inspiration from nature, landscape and architecture.

A series of large - scale, contemporary paintings on canvas. Anna paints birds; often larger than life, on large empty canvases. The birds often take on a subtle anthropomorphic feel, Anna gives each bird a character although her painting retains a lifelike style. Anna explores relationships and journeys through her paintings.
