Alice Walker and Anne Gingell combine playful collages with intricate paintings, innovative prints, ink drawings and sculpture -Alice's artwork is inspired by and some times even printed directly from the local landscape, meadows, hedges, trees and birds. Anne, being synaesthetic is using shapes and colours as a direct form of expression, creating works of harmony and balance which viewed in contemplation bring joy and tranquillity. This exhibition is housed in a stunning new thatched barn built using traditional methods, beside a wildflower meadow and close to the banks of the Thames.
